Key Duties

Provides health-related oversight for participants who require nursing assessment, care planning, staff training, nursing delegation, and monitoring of delegated nursing tasks.

Provides health-related oversight for participants who require nursing assessment, care planning, staff training, nursing delegation, and monitoring of delegated nursing tasks.
Key Duties
- ▸Review participant health needs
- ▸Develop or review nursing care plans and protocols
- ▸Train staff on participant-specific health needs
- ▸Delegate nursing tasks when appropriate
- ▸Monitor staff performance of delegated tasks
- ▸Provide follow-up, supervision, and remediation
- ▸Coordinate with the Program Director regarding health and safety concerns
- ▸Ensure compliance with applicable nursing delegation requirements
Qualifications
- ▸Current Maryland Registered Nurse license
- ▸Experience with developmental disability services preferred
- ▸Knowledge of nursing delegation requirements
- ▸Ability to train and supervise direct support staff
- ▸Strong documentation and communication skills

Provide hands-on Personal Supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community-based settings. Support daily living skills, community participation, personal care, safety, independence, and Person-Centered Plan goals.

- ▸Provide incidental transportation when assigned and qualified
Qualifications
- ▸Must meet DDA and agency staff requirements
- ▸CPR and First Aid certification required
- ▸Background checks required
- ▸DDA-required training required
- ▸Person-Centered Plan-specific training required
- ▸Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required when providing transportation
- ▸Medication Technician certification required when administering medications or performing delegated nursing tasks
